Isabelle Weidemann, a long track speed skating star from Ottawa, has become a cornerstone of Canadian winter sports. Known for her endurance and strength, she specializes in events like the 3000m, 5000m, and team pursuit, earning international acclaim for her performances.
At the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Isabelle made history, winning gold in the team pursuit, silver in the 5000m, and bronze in the 3000m—becoming the first Canadian to medal three times in a single Winter Games since 2006. With her sights set on World Championships and the 2026 Olympics, Isabelle’s focus, resilience, and dedication continue to inspire.
