Nicolas Métayer
Nicolas, founder of Peak Athletes, is a passionate leader who combines strategic expertise with a genuine dedication to helping athletes achieve their dreams on and off the field.
Born and raised in Quebec City, his journey began at the Royal Military College, where he earned a Business and Administration degree. As a Canadian Armed Forces Logistics Officer, he rose to Captain, completed a deployment in Kuwait, and developed a disciplined, results-driven leadership style.
Driven by a love for sports, Nic transitioned to athlete management, working with brands like Air Canada, Toyota, and TELUS at Lumency and Wasserman. At Envision Sports, he excelled as Director of Talent Management, contributing to the company’s success before founding Peak Athletes.
Nic sees athletes as people first, connecting with their values and aspirations to foster balance and long-term success. Outside of work, he embraces adventure through hiking, running, biking, and even surfing icy Great Lakes waves.
Daniel Paul Lavallée is a seasoned sports administrator and MBA graduate with a proven track record of leadership and innovation. As the former CEO of the Quebec Ski Federation, he played a pivotal role in advancing provincial, national, and international athletics, fostering excellence and growth within the sport.
Recently, Daniel has expanded his expertise to include representing athletes on the global stage, bringing his strategic vision and dedication to their success. In addition to his work in sports administration, Daniel (pen name: Daniel Paul) is also an author. His debut political thriller, The River Rubicon, has been praised for its gripping narrative and complex characters, earning a 5-star review from Readers’ Favorite.
